Promoting Your Lesson

Promoting your lesson is as easy as 1-2-3 |

What I’ve been doing to promote my lesson is posting ads on craig’s list. Make sure to post it in the right section and don’t over post, they don’t like that! I’ve been putting ads in different cities every week or so. Make sure to delete your previous ad before you re-post or you will get busted for over posting. You can post in whatever city you’d like. Remember, it doesn’t have to be in the city that you live in. Also, you may want to try and find someone who is interested in what you have to offer and seeing if they would post the video on their website. For example, I teach lessons on baby sign language so I’ve contacted a person who has an information site on signing with babies and asked her to post my videos on her site. Here is the link if you want to have a look: http://www.babies-and-sign-language.com/teach-your-baby-sign-language.html I’ve also embedded the videos on my website for more exposure: http://www.smarthands.ca/Site/Learn_How_to_Sign_with_your_baby_at_MindBites.html |

Check it out. I ran into a fitness forum were people right in with questions about exercise and what not. I also found this sight www.howtomendit.com/questions.php?id=81 It’s a free how to fix forum were people post how can I fix this. They have a section on exercise equipment and people post how do I fix this machine. If you know the answer then you post it. Well no one was answering any of the repair questions on either page. So now their mine. I go in every day and look for equipment I know how to fix and post the answer for them. THEN, I tell them they can also go to my mindbites page and see the video. I also tell then they can email me and I’ll try to help more. The other day I helped a man in New Zealand fix his ellipticle. HOW COOL IS THAT ! I told a lady how to adjust the rear roller on her treadmill and also gave her my mindbites address for that problem. The next day I sold that video. I’m not sure if it was her, but it may be. Any way I’ve been having a blast with this and thought it mite spur an idea in someone else’s head Later |

Great stuff Mark! Yeah, a great way to reach out to people who might benefit from your lesson is to start googling the types of things they might be searching for—“How to fix this, how to replace that…”. A lot of time you end up in forums, where you can both answer some people’s question and direct them to your lesson for more info. |

Dont forget about making a short clip of your video and uploading it to youTube and other video sharing sites. In the description, be sure to include the link to your MindBites lesson page. |
