iMovie- adding transitions question

I’m starting to put my project together but when I add transitions (cross dissolve) it adds and echo of the last thing I say. I tried to reduce the transition speed but it didn’t help. Is there a way to fix this problem???

I’ve never had the problem your talking about with the echo on the transitions, so I’m kind of at a loss on how to fix it. You might want to try moving your transition to a different place, a few frames away from your audio, and see if that makes a difference. Unfortunately thats all I have for you, like I said, never had that problem before.

Yes, I know what you mean. You have to extract the audio from the clip that you are hearing the echo. Right click on it and choose “Extract Audio”. Then you should be able to add the dissolve to just the video track. Hope that helps!
