Most of us are not blessed with perfect pitch. If you fall in that category, this MindBite is for you! This lesson concerns two different ways to tune a guitar by ear, both using note pairings. The first method is called Standard Tuning and is done by comparing two strings together, making the lower of the strings the same note as the higher string by pressing on the proper fret. The second method is called Harmonic Tuning and compares the string harmonics of the note pairings. Kevin will teach you how to do both.
