James is a very methodical and practiced guitar instructor and it comes across in his videos. In this video, he teaches you 1. How to hold the guitar, 2. Finger exercise, 3. Picking exercises, and 4. Major Scale exercise. An excellent video for beginners, this lesson gives you a solid fundamental understanding of how to properly hold and move your hand around a guitar. My only two suggestions for room for improvement are: 1. At 24 min total, I think it can be broken up into 2 lessons, and 2. I'd like to see a "Table of Contents" slide at the beginning listing the exercises or major points covered. Other than those thoughts, great video! Keep them coming!
