Arimaa is an interesting strategy game that can be played on an 8x8 chess board using chess pieces. But the rules are completely different and much simpler. You don't need to know how to play chess to learn Arimaa. Even kids can learn to play it in minutes and they will love the animal themed pieces. Once you've learned the game find a friend; teach them the rules and start playing. You will discover that Arimaa is a highly strategic game.
