In this lesson, Eric Stiller, the owner of the Manhattan Kayak Company, talks about his business and about kayaking in New York City. He started the company 6 years ago; the company teaches lessons and takes people kayaking on the river and to the waterfront within the city.

The core of the Manhattan Kayak program is the paddle basic class, in which students learn about using the paddle and using leg and torso muscles to kayak. While kayaking appears to only be an upper-body workout, the legs and core are used much more than it would seem. Kayaking is, indeed, a full body workout.
