Paula Mckenzie, a member of the Canadian Bobsleigh Team talks, about female bobsled. Bobsledding is an extreme sport in the snow. Women do two-man bob sleigh only. This consists of a driver and a breakman. Both push the bob sled as much as possible and then leap into it. It is a relatively new sport in the Winter Olympics for women.

Training for bob sled involves weight room training, on-ice training, and training in the ice room. Lots of sprints and weights are critical. As a very competitive and intense sport, injuries are commonplace. To avoid or mitigate injury, both perfect technique and mental and physical 'toughness' is of critical importance.
