Steve is a licensed massage therapist who is pretty much inundated with pulled muscles, tense ligaments, and weak joints day in and out. In fact, he's so busy soothing and relaxing his rigid, overworked clients that he hardly has any time to himself anymore.
So, he decided to share with you, the lucky Mindbites viewers, some of his trade secrets on stretching, that you may help yourself unwind before the problem becomes so severe that you come knocking down Steve's door.
The stretches he demonstrates are meant to be done with a partner, but can be executed by anyone, regardless of experience. They are for the average working stiff in desperate need of a morning/afternoon loosening up, which pretty much means the whole of America. †
I want one! 06/16/2007

I thought the instructor was knoweldgeable and thorough. He treated his friend that he was working on with a lot of respect and was very diligent about good communication. I also loved the background music that was playing. Slow paced and relaxating.
Interesting lesson for stretching a partners legs and glutes 05/05/2007
~ Jason
In this lesson, Steve, who is a masseuse, shows you a routine to stretch out a partner's legs, including quads, calves, hamstrings and glutes. He did a good job walking through each of the stretches and explaining how to interact with your partner. He could have said more about why partner stretching is beneficial (vs. just stretching out yourself) and who this routine might benefit. Overall good video though. I'd love to see more partner stretching.
Not a bad lesson, but not terribly informative. 05/02/2007

First off, Steve is hilarious, really enjoyable to watch and with an absurdly soothing voice right out of a meditation audio lesson. Still, as he was showing the stretches, he didn't really explain what they do and why these particular stretches work better over other ways to stretch. Overall I just wanted more information.
Also, sometimes the camera angles didn't quite display Steve's movements as well as they could have. I had trouble taking in the full grasp of the lesson because I never really saw a full shot of what was going on.
However, this lesson does give a few good pointers on interesting partner stretches that I've never seen before. I can tell Steve knows what he's doing and I wouldn't mind watching more videos of his in the future.
