Patrice Williams, a fourth degree black belt, talks about the truth of mind over body and the mind, body, spirit connection. We often identify ourselves with the physical, rather than the spiritual and infinite. The training for many martial arts has to do with getting back to the spiritual knowledge we have within ourselves. This lesson talks about the connection between mind and body from a martial artist, a skating coach, and a sports psychologist and gives some different opinions of one's mind, body, and spirituality. The guests also talk about imagery and visualization and the importance of building mental and life skills.
