Kevin teaches you how to play the song Burn One Down by Ben Harper on the guitar. This lesson is targeted for intermediate guitarists that are familiar with the basic guitar chords and strum patterns, but haven't had much exposure to picking. Discussed in this lesson are the chord forms needed, a strum pattern introduced (including an accent, slap, mute, and flip), and a picking technique used specifically for this song.

For an intro to playing Burn One Down, see Kevin's Basic lesson here:

I am a fan of music, as I hope is everyone. My instrument of choice is the guitar, however I also enjoy singing, and playing the piano.

Guitar lessons are best learned from one on one lesson where you can hear and see the plucking of the strings and feel the mood of the song. That’s what makes lessons like these so great. Kevin is good teacher because he’s light hearted and easy going.
