In this lesson, Derek introduces us to a roller workout that's been making a comeback after falling off a bit. Roller skating has evolved over time, and this video shows us one woman who is a huge fan of roller boogie. In Venice Beach, all sorts of people come together to roller boogie.

It's easier to perform dance tricks on quad-skates; quads are the original skates (with four wheels) that predated rollerblades and the like. Dance clubs are getting in on the crazy, too; more than 20 night clubs offer roller nights. It's a very different social activity than either the gym or the traditional night club. Roller skating and roller boogie are great cardio workouts and good leg workouts in addition to being fun social outlets
