Water Polo is a team sport that is very similar to basketball (but in the water). In this lesson, Som Seif explains how the game works. He begins with what the different positions are in the game and how the various positions compare and work together. He explains that the key to the game is, like basketball, you try to score while the opposing team tries to keep you from scoring, often by fouling you. In water polo, the result of a foul is that you get 3 seconds to make a free pass. The traits of a good water polo player should combine the position play of a soccer player, the passing skills of a football quarterback and the physical ability of a wrestler. It requires strong legs, arms and shoulders and the ability to keep afloat (as water polo forbids touching the floor of the pool). This video lesson is a good introduction to the game; it gives you a good idea of the game mechanics in addition to what to expect from a physical experience standpoint.

This technique is part of the Body Noble Method, which is a safe,...
