If all you know about knitting is that you need yarn and needles, and that you would love to learn this fun and practical skill in the easiest way possible, then congratulations! You have come to the right place, friend.
Marilen has been knitting since she was 9 years old, and teaching the craft for the past several, to both right and left-handed folks like you.
This is the second part of Marilen's introduction to knitting series. In this video she discusses an alternate knitting technique called "Purling." Also, she delves into some patterns one can employ to create different textures. And finally, she shows you how to bind off your work, enabling you to finish your knitting product properly that it won't come unraveled.

This video will show you how to purl, and how to combine knit and purl stitches in the stockinette pattern, create ribbing, and bind off your work. The pictures with explanation make it very easy to follow.

When I watched this lesson I liked that Marilen showed how to knit different combinations. I also liked that I could go back and re-watch how to do the stich in order to make sure I was doing it correctly. I'm not at the point yet where I am ready to 'bind off' but Marilen explains it clearly so I know I'll be able to do it when my scarf is finished. I look forward to part 3. Keep them coming.
