My name is Kirby and I'm originally from the east coast of Canada from a small town in Nova Scotia of about 1100 people called Western Shore. If you blink while passing thru, you may miss it. Currently I live in our nations capital, Ottawa ON. It's a city of about 850,000 (quite a jump from 1100), but a great place to live.

What I enjoy doing as a musician, since I was 7 years old, is of course playing the guitar. I love learning new songs and teaching others.

Hi Terry;

Yyes I use a pick in all of my tutorials. Not sure what to tell you ref fingerpicking except I will have tabs created for all of these tutorials and several hundred more that are not listed here .. they may be helpful .. Im working on that as we speak.

Hi Kirby,

Really enjoy your lessons. One question...are you using a pick or not in this lesson and if not what is the best way to learn to use your technique as I am better at finger picking than using a pick.
