In this lesson you will learn a fun and intricate combination that includes the following moves: The Backdoor, the Titanic, the Touch and Go turns, and the Copa. You will want to try this combo on the floor right away!
Level: Intermediate
This lesson includes demonstrations in the two most popular Salsa dance styles: On1 (aka "L.A. Style") and On2 (aka "New York Style").
A word about Salsa Dance Styles
---------------------------------------------
L.A. style (On1) and New York style (On2) are two of the most popular Salsa dance styles around the world. In the L.A style, the leader breaks forward with his left foot on the first beat of the measure while the follower breaks back with her right foot. In the New York style, the follower breaks forward with her left foot on the second beat of the measure while the leader breaks back with his right foot.
Once you feel comfortable dancing on one of these styles, you can easily translate your Salsa repertoire to the other style by following the "Timing Conversion Table" included as supplemental material with this video.

Hi !
We are from Montreal, Canada, where a lot of salsa is danced ! This Titanic Combo is great, well explained and beautifully rendered. However, as we mostly dance on 1 here, we would really like you to make more moves available on 1, even though you do it explain it on 1, but later in the video. Votre site web est superbe, bien structuré, et très intéressant ! j'adore !
