This lesson is part of the following series:

Computer Apps Bundle - ALL Videos (23 lessons, $346.50)
UIL Computer Apps Practice Tests A-F (Fall 2011) (6 lessons, $113.85)

This is the sixth in a series of videos that cover Packet 2 that is comprised of six UIL Computer Applications invitational tests that were given in the Fall of 2011. While this series is designed for students and coaches that compete in the Texas UIL High School Computer Applications contest, it will also be helpful for anyone seeking to brush up on Word, Excel and Access. In this lesson, we cover Test F.

In this video, you will walk through a test that requires, among other things, all of the following:
* Formatting and sorting of a data set in Excel
* Use of IF statements in Excel
* Creation and formatting/customization of a pivot table in Excel
* Creation and customization of a Block Letter in Word that has an Excel pivot table embedded in the body of the document
* Creation and formatting of a report in Access

To illustrate these things, we'll walk through the full test, working through each part in Access, Excel and Word. Note that a test pdf is included as well as ending point documents in order to allow you to compare your work to ours.

This video is screencasted. To watch it in the resolution in which it was recorded (which will offer a crisper screen resolution than the player here), move your mouse over the player and click the 100% (Actual Size) button.

This video was recorded using Microsoft Access, Excel and Word 2010. There are very minor differences in newer versions and the content covered here is the same across versions.
