I took my passion and enthusiasm for wine and food and made it into my dream job. I have first hand experience with every vintage since 1978, and can still describe memorable wines I drank twenty years ago. I'm not a wine snob or a wine geek though. I sometimes describe myself as a wine professional, but really prefer it when someone calls me their "wine guy". Thats who I am, and I love to share that passion with anyone interested.

I'm glad I got to preview this lesson. Sweet wines are totally new to me. I appreciate the "classic pairings" chapter since it breaks it down for the most inexperienced wine drinkers.
