This lesson shows the basic steps to how to composite images.
• combine multiple images into one image
• use Bridge to navigate and find images
• drag and drop images into a Photoshop project
• determine the appropriate size for your composition
• create a new project to build a composition in
• cut down the size of an image into a manageable size, aka "de-size an image"
• use channels panels to toggle on and off individual channels
• use channels to make a selection
• use keyboard shortcuts to make a selection
• inverse a selection
• intensify a selection by duplicating layers and merging into one layer
• use hot keys to quickly maneuver within Photoshop
• colorize a background with hue/saturation adjustment
• extract a selection from a complicated image by using channels
• manipulate glass distort filter to resembler reflection of water on glass
• paint in areas using a hard brush to unmask select parts of mask
• darken edges of an object with burn tool
• undo darkened edges with dodge tool
