A 4-minute introduction to Home Funerals. It is important for people know they have options when a loved one dies. Family and friends can provide loving and respectful after-death care for their loved ones as an alternative to calling in a professional service to tend to their loved one's body. Home funerals can be held for people choosing burial or cremation. Resources for more information are listed at the end of the video.

- Excellent Introduction, left me wanting more

I think this is a great introduction to the idea of Home Funerals, very sensitively presented. I had never considered this possibility before.
But, I would like some more details, more specific steps about how to achieve the individual tasks. -
- Both Informative and Beautiful

This is a wonderful piece. It is both informative and beautiful. Had no idea that it is legal (at least in some places) for friends/family to care for the body of a deceased loved one instead of morticians who never knew the person while they were alive. This seems to me the way to go. I had a home birth because I wanted to choose how my baby was cared for, and I can see now that a home funeral is similar in that it is very personal and control is kept among family members instead of given to professionals. Thank you so much, Donna, for making this excellent introductory film.

- Clear and informative video

This video is very informative and gives a great alternative to the traditional funeral. Many people feel that there is only one option when a loved one dies. This video shows that there are other approachable options out there. Thank you for giving a list of resources so we can get more information on home funerals.

- What about cremation?

I am really glad I purchased your video. The credits at the end help a lot since I still have more questions about types of burials. What about cremation? It would be awesome if you did a series!
Production Notes: The voice-over with the music is very clean and simple but sometimes the music got a little distracting since it is stereo channeled and the voice-over is only mono channeled. I would lower the gain on the music track and up the voice-over to make it more clear what you're saying.
Thanks for the great video!
