In this drum lesson we are looking at sub-divissions, having the ability to divide the pulse or tempo into an even amount of notes. Playing single strokes on the snare drum and keeping the hi hat on the quarter note with the foot.
When playing single strokes through odd sub-divisions of three, five and seven notes the hi hat unison will alternate between right and left hand.
