Fundamentals of Photographic Light (5 lessons, $40.59)
This lesson covers many theoretical and actual applications of light in photography. Learn how light behaves with single light sources in both direct and ambient lighting environments. Explanations of directional light and the types of lighting areas created are covered in depth.
When someone decides to get truly serious about the study of photography, they begin to study light. This lesson is excerpted from the DVD Learn Photographic Light, Film & Digital, which is an excellent resource for those looking to learn the fundamentals of light as it pertains to photography. This is the first segment cut from the DVD and includes chapters 1, 2 and 3 (covering the nature of light, light direction, and light form).

Really helpful video on how to take better pictures. I have been wanting to make use of my digital SLR camera and use it to its fullest capabilities but was in need of some direction. This video definitely helped me with my photography skills and understanding of how to manipulate the direction, form and nature of light.
