I am a recent graduate at the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Film and Sociology. My mother is Japanese and I also studied Japanese for the past 4 years and have lived in Japan for 11 years. It has to be one of the hardest to pronounce. I am from Texas and there are some syllables from this video that I know I could never pronounce. At least I'm trying, right?

However, this video went over very good phrases to learn while you're in Japan. I wish there were more language videos just targeted around simple phrases when you're on vacation. It seems like most travelers are only there for a little while so learning the entire language might not be reasonably justified versus limited phrases that will help you get around the country.
