Scanning brings together film and print media with digital media. Scanned images, sadly, do not always come out looking great. This lesson will equip to you end up with a better scanned image.
In addition to a discussion of the types of scanners and the mechanics of scanners, Brian will cover what minimum resolution is required of various types of scanners to produce a sufficient scanned photograph image. He'll also give you tips on which file formats you should use for maximum acceptability across photo editing applications. This will educate you on what to look for when selecting a scanner to use scanning photographic images.
