Dean does such a good job teaching the rules and regulations for windsurfing and sailing. As a beginning windsurfer I really needed to watch this to learn all the preparations and safety guidelines before getting in the water. I had no idea about the proper sailing conditions and how much you had to check before even getting to sail. Also, the distress signals and self-rescue techniques were really handy to learn.

I'm glad he went over all the terminology of sailing, i.e. the mast, luff, head adjustment, haul, and the leech.

Production notes

Describe safe weather conditions: less than 10 wind speed and no waves or white caps for beginners only little ripples. No approaching storms or other sever weather. Daylight only. Smooth firm bottoms preferred. Decribe proper fitted and maintained approved lifejacket, maybe some protective aqua footwear and/or sunglasses with retainer.
