Marine aquarium often times can misdiagnose poor coral positioning as disease or some other malady. In this lesson, Paul Talbot will walk you through some specific coral positioning issues and will show you what kinds of problems can result. To do this, he'll show you a sample aquarium with several different types of coral in it.
Poor coral positioning can result in sediment buildup, improper alignment with light source, coral relocation due to fish collisions, poor water flow leading to coral waste aggregating around the coral, coral irritation due to proximity to air stones/water flow/bubbles, stinging of coral by other coral due to proximity, etc. Paul will show you how to recognize and correct many of these coral positioning problems for your marine aquarium.
