This video has a good balance of quality content, professional quality presentation and duration to pique and maintain the students attention. I suggest you install and start Scilab console on your own desktop and follow along with the video, pausing as necessary, to enter and process the sample code. This is a great way to really invoke all your senses to help learn Scilab.
