Have you have ever been frustrated because your computer is too slow? Would you like to have a fresh computer, just like the day you bought it?
We will show you a simple way to solve the problem, even if you are not a computer expert.
THE SOLUTION
In this MindBites lesson, Levi (our field expert) will demonstrate how to reformat your PC and install the Windows operating system on it.
BENEFITS OF REFORMATTING THE PC
• Frees up hard drive space on the computer
• Increases overall speed of computer
• Removes certain unwanted files that can only be removed through re-formatting
• Eliminates viruses, spyware, and trojans
OUR EXPERT
Levi is the founder of a computer company and deals with computer problems every day. One reoccurring problem is the process of reformatting.
THE PROCESS
In this video, Levi will walk you step-by-step through the process of reformatting. He explains it in a simple way and you can watch him while he is reformatting the hard drive, and installing Microsoft XP. In addition, it is easy to follow and it will save you time and money.
PLEASE NOTE
You need the original Windows CD (with the original serial number). In order to save all files, you will need either an external hard drive, another computer, or blank CDs/DVDs. Keep in mind all your files will be deleted, so if you want to save your current files, be sure to do so BEFORE you begin formatting.
We hope that you enjoy our video and please leave feedback so we can improve it to satisfy your needs.

Currently the four of us attend the University of Texas at Austin. We wanted to bring a lesson that would have an effect on everybody. Since almost everybody uses a computer, we felt this lesson would accomplish exactly that. Two of our members were born in Texas, and the other two were born in Austria. We were fortunate enough to acquire the help of a computer expert named Levi.
Levi taught himself all about computers at the age of 12. Ever since then, he has been working hands on with computers. He has rebuilt hundreds of computers, fixed different computer problems, and reformatted hard drives and installed many different operating systems. We feel that you will be able to learn...

There is lots of good information in this lesson, but it takes some concentration to get it given the audio quality at times and visual supplements. If you need to reformat it's very helpful to be walked through it and given the verbal description you don't necessarily need to see their example screen clearly.

Very thorough and helpful instructions! I'm glad that y'all kept emphasizing that people save their files before reformatting - that could get messy!
