rated 4 out of 5 Good useful lessons. Great for absolute beginning Spanish speakers.

This is a good pragmatic language lesson. Carmen, a woman who grew up speaking Spanish, is essentially teaching her friend Ellen some basic phrases to use with a Spanish-speaking housekeeper. Going room by room through her house, they cover the basics in each room, such as cleaning the dishes, making the bed, etc. What I also really appreciated was Carmen's constant politeness in using please, etc in her speech. Great first lesson for this category! I can't wait for others in the community to add on to it!

Room for improvement: I thought the lesson could have moved a little faster and covered more phrases. Now, I am a moderate Spanish speaker though, and this is probably just right for beginners. I also would really like to see a handout with the phrases and key vocabulary on it that I can use to practice and as a cheat sheet. The production was pretty good overall. In the next lesson in this category, I'd love to
