In this lesson you will learn how to make your own set of baby sign language flash cards. Both the words and images for the front of the card are supplied in a pdf file for the front of the card. You will also receive, as part of this lesson, 30 pictures and their descriptions of how to make the signs for each word supplied. All of the signs provided in this lesson are American Sign Language (ASL) signs. You can personalize these cards by adding your own photographs to the 'mommy', 'daddy', 'grandma', 'grandpa' and 'family' spots.
This craft is fun and easy to do, the hard work is taken care of for you!
Clear and very informative lesson. 09/02/2008

This lesson is great for teaching children how to read, write, and sign all in one! Thank you so much for adding PDF files. This makes it very easy to make my own flash cards!

HI! Great job! 09/22/2008
Hello, I'm a brasilian English teacher! I found out your videos at youtube! I'm really impressed, your job is great! It shows that it is possible to teachy young learners new languages. I teach them as well, but English. I always use signs together with a word, they never forget! Now i see i can go deeper! Thank you for sharing this! Your daughter is lovely and really smart!

First of I would like to Thank You for making signing much easier and fun for my children . I have a 15 month old and a 4 year old.My baby knows 14 signs already. I started when she was 6 months, But i've been showing Baby signs videos since she was 3 months. Now my baby is at the point where i ask her for a sign like Apple, she does the sign and she picks up the card. My 4 yr old has also been doing great with learning her signs It is also helping her with her spellig. These cards really made it easy for both of my kids, Thank you yet again for facilitating the signing for me and my children.
