In this lesson you will learn how to make you own 3-letter word flashcards. These are great first words to practice with your child. I use them on the fridge with my daughter with alphabet fridge magnets. It is fun for her to see the word and match the letters to form that word. She learned how to read and spell as a result of simply playing this game.
You will receive full instructions of how to put the cards together as well as a file that has 30 words and pictures that you can use for your flash cards. You can even add as many words to your deck as you'd like. I hope you have fun making this craft for your preschooler!
This craft is great for daycare teachers, librarians, parents, teachers or anyone working with young children.

If anyone purchases the lesson and for some reason the pictures don't show up please let me know and I can email you the pdf file with all the pictures on it. Or email MindBites technical support (who are great at responding). The pictures should be there. Also, I'm not sure what word order you'd like them organized in for the files. Once you make the flash cards you can organize them in any order you'd like. I just picked commonly used three letter words. Please don't let the files limit you to how many flash cards you make, they are simply a sampling of what you could use and how to make your own. The sky is the limit, use your own photos and words to create as many as you'd like!
Again, if you are having trouble viewing the files please email me, I am always happy to help!

I was a trifle disappointed with the quality of the material (PDF File) as I found a lot of pics missing. I did not find the words organized in a proper way.
So if you are charging for this, you ought to make things better.

Another great project and game for helping kids learn how to read and spell. I remember using cards similar to these as a child, and plan to do the same with my own. I think I'll also make some of these flashcards for the other toddlers in my life-family, friends-to help them get an early start.
