This 77 minute trigonometry lesson is for the beginning trigonometry student or is a good refresher for anyone who has not recently studied trigonometry. The lesson reviews triangles, the Pythagorean theorem and the 3 promaary trig ratios (Sine, Cosine and Tangent. In this lesson you will be introduced to the concepts of trigonometry and learn how to:
- name the parts of a triangle and recognize acute, obtuse and right angle triangles; isosceles, equilateral and scalene triangles; and similar triangles
- use the Pythagorean Theorem, hypotenuse, opposite side and adjacent side soh cah toa
- find the sin, cos and tan of any angle,
- use your calculator for trigonometry
- find the length of the sides in any right angle triangle
- find the unknown angle in any right angle triangle
- solve right triangles

The description for this lesson was spot on. Everything was covered in decent detail with examples where appropriate. The monotone voice starts to wear thin but I love that I could rewind and review things that didn't make sense the first time or if I zoned out. I'll probably come back to this lesson before my test.
