Think Link from Zelda or Captain Jack from Pirates of the Caribbean or Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride! Swords are necessary accessories for these outfits! And having a real sword on you is not that appropriate at bars where you could easily get yourself or someone stabbed?! I am a big fan of making your own sword for any costume occasion whether it be the school's play, Halloween, a costume party, or dress-up work day!
