Meet Lou. He is, by his own admission, a love activist. In addition, he's also a guitar player, and a pretty good one at that. With a beaming personality and an unshakably optimistic outlook on life, he begins each day with a simple mantra in the form of a catchy song. In this lesson, he demonstrates how to play this composition of his, entitled "A Peaceful Morning," and informs how performing such a task can brighten ones own disposition and provide the ground work for a calmer, more peaceful existence.

I Love Lou!!! Great beginning guitar and life lesson! 03/19/2007

In this lesson, Lou teaches you a fun beginning song that he wrote and sings every day to start his day. Called Having a Peaceful Morning, the song is a good beginner guitar song using a DAG chord progression. Lou does a really good job of walking you through the song, then going chord by chord, showing you the rhythm structure, then the overall chord structure of the song. Finally, Lou talks about the meaning of the song and how he uses it as his personal musical mantra to focus each of his days on having a peaceful morning. Great video Lou! Thank you.
