I’m a computer geek, but love shooting video too. Usually when I’m shooting on location and I need a light, I’ll clip it onto something, but that doesn’t always work to my benefit. So I watched Eric show me how to build one. It’s surprisingly simple and doesn’t take as much time as I thought it might. While this is something you could do solo, it’s also fun to do as a group project. I think that once I’ve got the basics down from this video, I might try and get a little fancy with my next project and construct something could work as a handcrafted light stand at home.
