How to talk to your young child about sex 09/09/2008

I think MY favorite part was, "Ohhh, good question!" That, and practicing in front of the mirror. Katie makes me feel like I could do it. I appreciate her use of humor in talking about a difficult subject.

great video 09/08/2008

Even just thinking about talking to my daughter about sex seems hard... but this video gives me a good place to start, and tips on how to do it. Every parent should watch this one!

Thank you!! 09/06/2008

I love the example you gave when a child brings up a sexual (or any) topic with a parent... instead of saying, "Where did you hear about that?" you say, "Thank you for asking me that question!"

It's definitely something most parents don't think about before the question is asked of them, but something we should all ponder for sure!!

Thank you for helping me think!!
