In this lesson, Wes Womack (brother of Brad Womack of Bachelor fame), the owner of a bar in Austin, Texas, shows you how to make four popular drinks: Cosmopolitan, Long Island Ice Tea, Sex with an Alligator, and B-52 Shots. He shows how to chill martini glasses, garnish the drinks, and some tricks for layering to make these drinks.

I love this video. It it so much different seeing someone do something like this vs. reading about it in a book. I have always wanted to know how to mix drinks (even to the point of thinking about doing on of those" learn to be a bartender courses"). And, like everyone else, I've had one of those bartender's guides for years, but wading through their 400 drinks and trying to follow their recipes, never really happened. What I love about this video is that 1. they actually show you all the little techniques (like icing the glass), 2. they focus on a small set of drinks I'm interested in. And of course, they give you the recipe as well.
Room for improvement? The vid's a little dark (but it works), Wes could smile a little more! (and maybe throw a piece of bartender's advice in there as well!), and some closeups (especially of the dribble pour) would have been nice too.
Make more!!! - How about a martini focused one? Or a cocktails with fresh juices? Or a set of cocktails for a summer party?
