This is probably the best way to create a 3D image in Photoshop. I had no idea that defining your own brush would work just as easily as duplicating several layers to create that "layered" look or 3D effect. I am a big fan, a big, big fan of this tutorial, especially the section on how to use shadows, textures and masks to create depth. Love, love, love it!

This lesson is incredible. I had no idea you can make a 3 dimensional logo so quickly. I thought you had to draw out all the letters and dimensions. Thank you for also adding to the logo by showing us how to use a mask to textures. I didn't know how to that either.
