QuickBooks reports can show you how to improve the financial performance of your business, but getting to the right information can be a little cumbersome if you don't take advantage of certain features in the software.
In this video, the author teaches you 9 of those features -- easy to learn -- that will let you work with QuickBooks reports more quickly and with deeper insight.
These are techniques that the author, a small business financial analyst, uses almost every day. You'll learn how to set report defaults, visually present numbers to reduce eye strain, memorize customized reports, toggle between a "forest" and "trees" perspective, sort data, and other tips that will get you on your way to slicing and dicing QuickBooks data like a pro.
This video is intended for bookkeepers and business owners who want to improve their QuickBooks data analysis and reporting skills. It uses QuickBooks Accountants' Edition 2009.
Assumes a basic knowledge of QuickBooks.

- Great tips beyond bookkeeping data entry!

I use Quickbooks all the time for data entry but have not used the report functions very much. Although, I was aware of the different features and preferences, I didn't really know which ones were useful and how to best implement them. It was great to be able to watch the video and follow in QB step-by-step. David added the most important ones into this short video without any extra "fillers". Great information! Thank you!
This video covers 9 QuickBooks reporting features the author uses to conduct financial analysis with greater speed, accuracy, and insight:
1. Time-saving default report settings
2. Round numbers
3. Collapse/expand
4. Spread data by columns
5. Sort Z to A, A to Z
6. Percent of column
7. Except zero amounts
8. Memorized reports
9. Close all
