Mike the how to guy shows you how to fix your toilet and replace the guts of a toilet
from start to finish.
In this video, Mike goes through the step by step process of toilet repair. He starts by going through the tools needed to complete this plumbing project such as a bucket, sponge, adjustable wrench, pipe wrench and tape measure. You will learn exactly how to shut off the water supply and drain the water out of the tank. Next Mike goes through all the parts that you will find in the toilet and how to remove the components as well as the toilet tank. You will learn about toilet components such as a fill valve, ball cock, refill tube, flapper, flapper chain, flush valve and many more.
After the toilet is taken apart and cleaned up, Mike moves on to the Toilet Replacement Kit and explains exactly how to replace all the inner workings of the toilet tank.
Toilets can be tricky but once you watch this video, you will know exactly how to fix your toilet or replace the toilet components.

I found this video by accident and must say it was the best $1.98 I ever spent on home improvement!
Your material is straight forward and gave me the confidence to tackle this job. Even though it took a bit longer than expected everything is leak free and flushing like a champ.
I recommend this video for those who have some mechanical ability and a little patience.
Well done Lad!

Extremely helpful. Would love to see a general trouble shooting toilet problems. Example, what to do if your toilet has a slow running leak, etc. Would also like to see more plumbing and electrical quick fix mindbites from mike.
