Monotype printmaking is a method for applying an image to a plate and then pressing it on to paper. With this method, you make one print at a time, thus the name, mono-type. This type of printmaking is traditionally done on a copper plate and with a printing press. This lesson teaches you how to make a monotype print using an old computer input device, a flatbed scanner.

My toes are small and misshapen and seldom make people smile. My hair is shaved down to a number two with bits of blond mixed in a sea of dark brown. I have a tendency to amble oddly caused by a pain in my left knee. I like my clothing to look sharp and my music to sound even sharper. Check out my blog-http://topicelvo.blogspot.com/

i like the idea of grunge printmaking on the cheap. could you use this same print over and over again or does the name MONOTYPE mean that you can only make one print with one inked drawing?
