The Everyday Indian Menu is a series of lessons that Carla has created displaying standard (yet mouthwatering) dishes eaten throughout modern India, well, everyday.

This particular instructional video delves into the delicate art of how to make Chapatis, a type of roti or Indian unleavened bread eaten primarily in South Asia, but enjoyed around the world. This dish is high in protein and bran content, making it an incredibly healthy delight as well! In this step-by-step how-to-video, Carla will share a Chapatis recipe that has been passed from generation to generation. You will learn how to make and mix the dough, roll it out, and finally see how Chapatis are fried!

Carla began cooking Indian food at the age of 15 and went on to hone her skills at the best Indian cooking school ever - her mother’s kitchen! She has adapted these recipes to life in America, developing homemade curry pastes, spice mixtures and cooking sauces that make Indian cooking fun, fast and convenient. The Spice Route Homemade Indian Cooking classes aim to demystify Indian cooking, and prove that Indian cuisine is about SO much more than curry powder!

I love Carla's videos! Very easy to understand - I love Indian food but am always intimidated by a list of 40 ingredients; Carla's recipes are very achievable and she seems like a nice person who might come over to your kitchen and teach you a new dish. This is a new way of making Chapatis which is much easier.
