Lydia teaches you how to make cute mini-notebooks using Paint chip samples! A great way to recycle those old paint chips from your last painting project. Gather your paint chips (or get new ones from the home improvement store), small stamps, a round die-cut, a stapler, and copy paper to make these adorable little books. You will also learn a technique Lydia calls 'Rock and Roll,' which is a method for inking a stamp in two shades of the same color at once. See more of Lydia's projects on her website:

I am a paper arts instructor in Austin, TX. I have a weekly instructional art show on local TV where I demonstrate making simple cards and gifts with rubber stamps and accessories, using a variety of techniques and graphic design principles.
I also do freelance graphic design and marketing and work full time as the Director of Market Development for a software company.

These little notepads are so cute. I've never been that interested in paper arts, but Lydia's projects have inspired me to try new crafts. I was about to recycle some paint chips, but they will now be re-purposed into these little notepads, instead.
