Lydia teaches you how to make a beautiful spotted bird card by continuing a dot motif throughout the different pieces. This project uses coordinating craft card stock and patterned paper, black paper, white taffeta ribbon, die cuts, a white gel pen, and a black glaze pen.

I am a paper arts instructor in Austin, TX. I have a weekly instructional art show on local TV where I demonstrate making simple cards and gifts with rubber stamps and accessories, using a variety of techniques and graphic design principles.

This card is so pretty, and looks very simple (though I have doubt that my free-hand dots would turn out as beautiful as Lydia's!). I love the continuation of the little dot theme throughout all the elements on the card and the little bird sitting on his ribbon wire.
