About Jason Reneau
I am one of those people who is a natural at nothing and wants to learn everything. I love to read, learn new things and meet interesting people. I like to try and fix things around the house and every once in a while I am actually successful. I am a really bad but aspiring guitar player, cook, student of world religions, and foosball player.
I accidentally became a PowerPoint ninja somewhere along the line and am a recovering Excel jockey. I am an award-winning haiku poet (ok, it was 7th grade).
At MindBites, my card says Founder and CEO but I am more often the acting Chief Bottleneck Officer. My biggest accomplishment has been finding a great group of really talented people to join me in this journey.
In prior lives, I was part of the early teams at both FreeMarkets Online in Pittsburgh and Kiva Systems in Boston, am worked at McKinsey and company before that in Houston and Argentina. I studied Economics at Texas A&M and got my MBA from Harvard. In 2002, my wife and I traveled and volunteered for a year across Asia.
