About Paul Talbot & Brendan Jarvis
Paul Talbot and Brendan Jarvis are the key players behind the Exclusive Fish Films and Exclusive Tropical Guide educational tools. Their collective passion for and interest in home aquariums and aquatic life are what first brought them together to release Instructional DVDs, and they've worked together to bring that passion and aquatic expertise to global viewers ever since.
Paul's childhood interest in fish species and aquariums led him to take his first job in the aquarium industry, and he has since turned that passionate hobby into a stunning career as a fish keeping expert and consultant. Professional credits to his name include several articles in local and international magazines, a long list of prominent, satisfied clients, consultancies on high-profile aquarium projects, a global presence that have led to his methods being taught in 27 countries, and national Australian accolades.
He has consulted celebrities such as World Champion Swimmer Ian Thorpe and the creators of Finding Nemo, as well as major companies including Red Sea and Aqua One. In addition to his appearances on multiple TV shows, Paul has earned two national Australian honors: runner up for Young Australian of the Year in 2001 and winner of the Centenary Medal in 2003... not to mention the affectionate nick name "fish man".
Brendan Jarvis is also a lifelong fish and aquarium enthusiast. Like Paul, he has owned, bred, raised and studied countless species of fish and coral. It was his keen interest and ongoing self-education in aquarium technology that led him to Paul, and together, the two created the Exclusive Tropical Guide and Exclusive Fish Films DVDs. The goal of the project was and still is to bring world class fish and aquarium expertise to budding enthusiasts around the world, so kick back, and let the fish guys get you started!
