  Focus your attention on the right hand. The PIMA arpeggio pattern is an easy and basic right hand picking technique. Once can play it comfortably, and the left hand and play with some chords.

• Learn the Simplest Chords on the Guitar

• Practice Strumming DDDD UUUU & DUDU Patterns

  This is a good beginning exercise for developing right hand finger-style strumming. Down with the nail side of the fingers and up with the nail side of the thumb.

  Tablature or TAB is a way of notating guitar music using numbers to represent where to put your fingers on the fretboard.
