I am about to embark on editing a full length feature film that we produced and shot over 2 years ago. (www.DelilahRoseFilm.net) I had edited a 20 minute "buyers reel" of the film using final cut pro 4. I did this with an experienced editor using his knowledge of the software and using his equipment. Some time has passed since then, and I have purchased my own Mac w/FCE on it and Jeanne's video lesson's are a great refresher course for me. Thanks so much Jeanne! Well done!
This was a great review for me. All the little details were there in the tutorial. Thanks!
The video was very concise and a great help to understand the program. If I could, I would definitely buy the rest of her course. (I can't use my international CC to get more stuff!)
Excellent instructional video. In my case, the dumber you think I am the better. I need to be lead by the hand. This video did just that and I thank you very much.

I found this video tutorial one night when I was frantically trying to figure out why I wasn't successful at final cut express. She saved my buns.
As a former technical writer, now Mom, I rate Jeanne's course as excellent because of her ability to speak to the layperson.
Jeanne's format is correct. That is, she begins at the beginning and progresses through the steps as you will need to know them. She does not skip around or tell you later in the steps that she forgot to tell you something earlier.
She took time to make a lesson plan or otherwise organize her agenda before she created these lessons. This is good for the rest of us.
I have viewed several similar tutorials and found myself confused or wanting, even in all my technical wisdom and fearless approach.
Thank you, Jeanne. Keep them coming. I plan to become an expert on Final Cut. Your lessons are key to that endeavor.

I'm doing a multimedia project for a journalism class and my instructor expects us to use FCE without being taught. I did a ton of research before stumbling across this video and it has been SUCH a huge help. It may not be what advanced audio-editors are looking for, but it's perfect if you're clueless like me. Thanks so much for the great instruction!
Jeanne,
YOU are so talented! Thanks for showing us how to use these effects in Final Cut Express HD on your Mac computer. You are an amazing teacher and have a great way of explaining how to use programs like these.
I'm glad you reviewed the process of rendering. This always annoyed me before because I hate how long it took to render but now I see I was doing it all wrong!
Thanks, love!
