A Complete Foundation to Oil Painting. The complete foundation series should give you all the basics that you need to know about the subject title whether a total beginner or an expert wanting extra tips. The films include clear graphics where required, lots of examples and very many demonstrations both in the studio and "en plien air" ( out of doors in situ). Different mediums, methods and techniques are shown and often linked together. An effort is always made to choose both methods and materials that best suit a subject. Not only are tools and materials dealt with in thier own right and section but often discussed, again, as we start each demonstration. In my films you will see many ways to paint rivers, sea, beaches, figures, flowers, landscapes, skies, trees, animals, birds, insects, boats, interiors of buildings, and more. The complete foundation to Oil Painting will not only give you a good "foundation" and understanding of all the basics you require to paint by showing you "how to" in many demonstrations and step by steps, but will hopefully enthuse you into wanting to paint even more? It does NOT go into the very basic foundations of drawing and perspective etc. though. I would advise you, please, to see my foundation films in colour and drawing to aid you further in those specialist basic and important areas.
