Contest Details
Are you an expert swaddler? Can you gussy up a onesie? Did you build your own crib or decorate your nursery on a budget? Well, have we got the contest for you! Share your mad mommy (or daddy) skills through a video lesson and be eligible to win up to $1500 in prizes in MindBites The Baby Formula Instructional Video Contest (the "Contest"). Lessons must be uploaded by 11:59 P.M. Central Time (CT) in the United States on November 17, 2008, so register today to gain access to tips, resources and help. It's free to enter, it's fun, you could win up to $1500, and most importantly, you'll be helping loads of befuddled parents and benefiting Any Baby Can. Register today!
Requirements:
Register at MindBites.com at the registration page, then create and upload any original new baby or parenting video lesson (each, an "Entry") to enter. The lesson should be instructional in nature, 5 to 20 minutes in length, focused on a topic related to babies (newborn to 3 years) and/or parenting of babies, and compliant with all other guidelines set forth in our Standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Timeline:
- September 3, 2008: Contest Begins. Register early for access to tips and help.
- November 17, 2008 (11:59 P.M. CT): Final deadline for Entries.
- November 28, 2008 (11:59 P.M. CT): Voting is closed.
- December 2, 2008: Winners announced.
Prizes:
Two cash prizes will be awarded: A Grand Prize of $1000, and a People's Choice Award of $500.
The Grand Prize winner will be picked by a panel of judges that includes Ann Crady (a prominent parenting blogger), Erika Jurney (of Plainjanemom.com), Margot Potter (winner of the last MindBites contest), and representatives from both MindBites and Any Baby Can.
The People’s Choice winner will be determined based on voting. Registered MindBites users are eligible to vote once per week from September 3, 2008 through November 3, 2008 and then once per day from November 4, 2008 through November 28, 2008.
